A Roman Catholic Parish in the Archdiocese of St. Louis
Immacolata: Forward In FaithUpdate - April 6, 2008As you can see, the steel beams form an outline of our school building addition. Despite the rains, we are still moving ahead as quickly as possible. Our pledges remain at $4,019,190.19 with revenue reaching $2,197,345.19. We encourage all to keep up the good work and we again thank those who have responded generously to this important undertaking for our parish. Rain Delay - February 10We had a set back this week on construction of the school addition. Snow and wet grounds made it impossible to work. But full speed ahead this week I hope. Pledges for the new construction stand at $4,017,045.09 with revenue collected rising to $2,149,753.68. Thanks to all who are working to fulfill their pledge and thanks to those who have increased their pledge. We have one more piece of the puzzle left to do. Make contact and invite those who have not yet been contacted or who have not yet given to respond as they are able. With all of us working together, we can make happen and make it happen well. Scout Sunday, RCIA, CRHP, and Construction Progress
Today at the 11:30 Mass we will formally send our candidates for Baptism and reception into the Catholic Church to the Cathedral for the Rite of Election next Saturday afternoon. Please keep those preparing to celebrate the Easter Sacraments in your prayers. Still Waiting For a Demolition PermitWe expect to see some real progress this week on the demolition of the convent and the building of the addition to our school. As I write this column, we are still waiting for one more permit before we can proceed. I hope we get it before you read this column. In the meantime we still show progress in our pledge / revenue report. As of January 8, 2008, $4,016,295.09 has been pledged (still looking for another ½ million) with $2,103,950.96 received. Thank you and please keep up the good work. |
