Holy Week 2007

Palm Sunday

Palms will be blessed and distributed at the beginning of each Mass:

  • Saturday: 5:00 pm
  • Sunday: 7:30, 9:30, 11:30 am & 5:00 pm

Holy Thursday

  • No morning Masses today.
  • 7:00 pm Mass including washing of the feet and procession followed byAdoration of the Blessed Sacrament until Midnight.

Good Friday

Good Friday is a day of fast and abstinence. Those over the age of 14 are obliged to abstain from eating meat; those between the ages of 21 - 59 must fast by eating only one full meal and two lesser meals.
  • No morning Masses today.
  • Good Friday Services consisting of Scripture, homily, Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion at 12:00 noon and 7:00 pm.
  • Stations of the Cross at 3:00 pm
  • Confessions will be heard after each Service on Good Friday

Holy Saturday

  • No morning Mass. No Confessions. No 5:00 pm Mass.
  • Easter Vigil Mass at 7:30 pm. Lighting of new fire and candles, receptions into the Catholic Church, Confirmation, and First Communion will be celebrated at this Mass. This is the first Mass of Easter and we welcome all our parish family members to participate.

Easter Sunday

  • Morning Masses at the Usual times: 7:30, 9:30 & 11:30 am.
  • There will not be a 5:00 pm a Mass on Easter Sunday.
