Welcome to Miss Johans'

My name is Miss Johans and this is my second year teaching at Immacolata. I grew up in St. Louis with my two parents and younger brother. I attended Catholic schools all my life, so it only made sense to teach at one! This is my ninth year teaching and I continue to love my job more and more everyday! I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Social Studies and 6th grade Science.

Expectations for Students: I expect my students to respect their fellow classmates and their teachers above all. They must come prepared for class everyday, without continuous trips to their locker. Students must participate in class, do their homework, and study every night. Pop quizzes often pop up in my class!

Homework policy: I have a very simple homework policy. If the homework is not turned in the day it is due, the student marks the chart and it will be an automatic 10 points off. If it is not turned in the next day, it is an automatic 50%.
