How is it that whenever it floods, the weather is always so nice afterwards?  Well, I guess we need to take advantage of it while we can, despite the wet basement.

LET’S TRY AGAIN: Volunteers are needed for Lead Room Parent for Mrs. Spiroff’s 6th Gr. and Ms. Johan’s 7th Gr. as well as 2 people for Hot Lunch on the 3rd Thursday of the month.  We appreciate you taking the time to consider and to volunteer.  This includes in the classroom as well as out and even in the cafeteria. Call Lisa Mullen (962-2453) or Megan Browdy (962-3038) to give of your time

Sally Foster Request:  An ONLINE Sally Foster order for $324 was incomplete.  If you or someone you know placed this order, please call Debbie Tonn (989-9814) so the order can be processed and also, so that credit may be given to the student.  Please check with those you know since there are few online orders and call Debbie right away.

Kudos to the Kindergarteners!  That cuteness factor netted them $703.63 for the new playground for their Friday Fundraiser last week.  That’s a lot of coins!

This Friday Fundraiser, Sept. 19 is Breakfast at Immacolata, served by Troop 2064 (1st & 2nd Gr. Brownies).  For a $2 donation, you can enjoy bagels, cream cheese, bananas & juice from 8-8:25AM in the cafeteria.  For more details, call Mary Noel Donovan (983-0717).

Standardized Testing is next week!  Be sure to schedule any appointments after school hours so our little Einsteins won’t have to make up any testing.  And make sure they eat lots of nutritious foods regularly and get plenty of sleep!

Community Resource Volunteers will meet for the one & only time on Thurs, Sept. 25 at 8:30AM on the gym stage.  Call Kathy Grearson (968-6335) or Nancy Tice (918-9201).  Come and get the scoop!

Mark Your Calendar:  Our Second Graders are sponsoring a Playground Fundraiser for Tuesday, Oct. 7.  That evening will be  Immacolata Night at McDonalds from 4-7PM at the Rock Hill McDonalds on Manchester. A percentage of ALL receipts during that time period go to Immacolata.  You can even see Mr. Latragna there!  Questions, call Linda Hasse (991-3802).

Mark Your Calendar II: Troop 2651 (5th Gr. Juniors) will babysit for the Parent/Teacher Conference on Thu, Oct. 23 from 1-4:30PM.  The babysitting is a community service, and any donations will go to the playground.  Contact Mary Noel Donovan (983-0717) for more details.
