By the time you read this, Standardized Testing will be well over half over.  It's nice not having homework, but it will be a relief when the testing is done. 

Be sure to firm up those dinner plans for the Immacolata Tailgater this Fri, Sept. 25 from 5-9PM.  Skates, bikes, scooters, skateboards, silly string, chalk, & balloons need to be left at home.  The 8th Gr. will sell glow necklaces & hair spray paint to put all in a festive mood.  Adults can stroll and socialize with other parents while the kids dance to the music of Bob Schenk.  What a nice way to celebrate the end of testing and the beginning of fall!

Don't forget!  Basketball Registration is Wed, Sept. 30 from 7-9PM in the computer lab for Gr. 3-8.  You may enter by the back door across from the playground.  Cost is $85/sport/child for parishioners.  If unable to go to registration, you may send your form with payment to the school office before Sept. 30. Contact Steve Mattingly at sjm@misselaine.com for more info before Sept. 30.  It's important to keep those parental taxi skills ongoing!

Mark the Calendar:  A Coffee Gift Gathering Party at the home of Beth Schenk at 31 Northcote from 9AM-12:30PM will be tons of fun on Thurs, Oct. 1.  Mimi Boden Shopping will be featured.  RSVP to Michelle Keady (862-6765) or Gina Tramelli (692-2172).  What nice way to break up your week!

Mark the Calendar II:  The Auction Pre-Sale will be Sat, Oct. 3 in the gym.  You may drop off new or gently used items on Mon. or Fri in the Cafeteria from 8:30-9:30AM.  Contact Lisa Mullen (963-2453), Debbie Tonn (989-9814) or Genie Wilhelm (968-0439) for more info.

Also in Auction news are the Auction Ads. Recognize a dedicated teacher, send greetings to friends, show your kids you care in actual text or pictures, or any other appropriate message by using the Auction Ads. The added bonus is you'll be supporting the school.  The deadline is Thurs, Oct. 15.  Send your questions to Carol Essma (994-3180) or Joan Guyol (991-1614).
