Wednesday Envelope - Oct. 21, 2009

It looks like we have a break in the mild winter we are experiencing and might actually enjoy some autumn weather.

Thanks to all those volunteers who helped with the Sally Foster Gift Wrap fundraiser.  It was a job well done and we appreciate your time and effort.

Tonight, Oct. 21 is the night of the children's choir rehearsal from 7-7:45PM in the church.  Mrs. Zaat invites all kids in Gr. 3-8 to come participate and then add their youthful voices to the 9:30AM Mass on Oct. 25.  What a great way to involve kids at Mass! Contact Mrs. Zaat at nzaat@immacolata.org for more info.

After Mass, don't forget to pick up an Immacolata water bottle or coffee mug to help support the 8th Gr. graduation activities.  Water bottles are $3 or 2 for $5 and the coffee mugs are $5.  They would make great stocking stuffers or Christmas/Halloween phantom containers!

Time is running short!  There are still open spots if you haven't signed up for Parent Teacher Conferences, tomorrow, Thurs, Oct. 22 from 1-4:30PM & 5:30-9PM. Call the school office (991-5700 x302) or drop by to sign up.   Babysitting by the 8th Gr. is available from 1-4PM in the gym during the afternoon conferences.  No reservations needed, but donations are accepted for the 8th Gr. Autism T-shirt fund. Contact Liz Gruenbacher (726-7939) if you have questions.

AUCTION NEWS:  1) You remember how you made that resolution to be on top of school deadlines?  Well, now is the time to break that reputation that you are slow to send in your forms.  Send in your Denim & Diamonds RSVP along with your express pay form RIGHT NOW!  The actual deadline is next Tuesday, Oct. 27.  Don't put off tomorrow what you can do today.  2)  Watch for incredible items in the Auction Preview located in back of the church after all the masses.  Some lucky winner could win a night's stay at the Crown Plaza on the night of the auction. Sounds intriguing! 3) Needed:  Easels to help display auction items in back of the church and on auction night.  Contact Michelle Keady (862-6765) or Gina Tramelli (692-2172) if you can help.
