Wednesday Envelope - Dec. 2, 2009

So much to do, so little time. I guess we'd better get down to business with Make a Note...The 7th Gr. Girls Scouts thank all who gave to the Food Drive last week.  Both the St. Vincent de Paul & Wellston Center, operated by St. Augustine's parish, will benefit from Immacolata's generosity.

The Home & School Association will be hosting another "Stop & Shop" event from 8:15AM-? in the cafeteria tomorrow, Thurs, Dec. 3. Those much desired and easy to get gift cards will be available while you nibble on bagels & coffee.  You know you’re going to buy some gift cards, so why not come see what you can cross off your Christmas shopping list and help the school at the same time!

Come hear our own little angels sing and share the joy of the Christmas season!  The Immacolata Christmas Program is tomorrow, Dec. 3 at 7PM in the gym.  Little elves say the Grinch will be making an appearance as well as everyone's favorite, the Nativity.  Also, turn in your Immacolata Christmas Program DVD form & money via Wed. Envelope.  Time to order!

Don't forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy (approximate value of $10) to school tomorrow or to the Immacolata Christmas Program.  The toys will benefit children served by Visitation-St. Ann's Shrine parish & St Augustine parish in Wellston.  Make a child smile from an anonymous Santa!

Last chance to RSVP for Advent by Candlelight!  Advent by Candlelight is this Sun. evening, Dec. 6 at 7PM in the gym.  Msgr. Robert Gettinger will provide reflection and a quiet moment for the ladies in the whirlwinds of the season. Contact Mary Corrigan (mlcorrigan@sbcglobal.net or 991-3359) if you have questions.

Our Yearbook Committee is requesting any photos you may have of school activities from this school year.  Please send copies of photos directly to Mrs. Reynders or Mrs. Frederiksen.  Or, you may email them as attachments to yearbook@immacolata.org. (Sorry, we can’t use cell phones photos).  We appreciate your help in supplying photos.

Santa is coming to Immacolata! Breakfast with Santa is on Sun, Dec. 13 at 9:30AM in the gym.  Cost is $5/person and $3 for a photo of your little (or big) loved one with biggest elf of all.  Forms can be found in the back of the church or in the school office.  Those 6th Gr. elves and their parents need to report to gym on Sat, Dec. 12 at 9AM to prepare for Santa's arrival.  It is an important job!  All proceeds from the breakfast will help charities chosen by the 6th Gr.
