The Immacolata Gym is the place to be on Friday Night!  You don't even need to have a kid playing basketball!  Come see the school spirit and join the fun, but be sure to bring your best sportsman behavior.

Friday, Jan. 22 is a busy day at our school.  To start, the philanthropic 4th Grade is hosting a Bake Sale with the proceeds to benefit the earthquake victims in Haiti.  To insure that all our students who have peanut and tree nut allergies, all baked goods will be pre-packaged and/ or commercially prepared peanut-free and tree nut-free .  Bring money and a sweet tooth!  Also, the Immacolata Spelling Bee begins at 1:30PM in the gym.  Come and learn how to spell philanthropic (thank goodness for spell check!).  And then, come that evening for the ever popular Friday Night Lights!     

The Staff Appreciation Luncheon is coming quickly on Fri, Feb. 5 at the home of the gracious Angie Potter (not the Donovan's as previously stated).  A little bird requests while wine is always a good donation, it could be too much of a good thing and it would be nice to add some entrees to the menu.  Those teachers do have to drive home!  Call Mary Noel Donovan (the5donovans@yahoo.com or 983-0717) to volunteer an entree (meat or sandwiches), appetizer, salad, soup, or dessert (or even change your donation from wine to something else!).
