* * * * * * * * *  Our Classroom Rules* * * * * * * * *

Our goal is to have a classroom that exhibits mutual respect and personal responsibility so the following rules have been created for the students (and are posted in the classrooms):

1. Follow all adult directions.

2. Use appropriate language.

    (No swearing, teasing, rudeness or put downs.)

3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

4. Be prepared for class.

    (Bring paper, pencils/pens, books, notebooks, and

     homework to class.)

Consequences for not following these rules are:

1st warning.....name on paper

2nd warning....miss recess

3rd warning....report sent home to parents to be signed &

                     returned to teacher

4th warning.....call to parents

5th warning.....conference with Mr. Latragna

6th warning.....conference with parents

All fourth grade students receive a calendar at the beginning of the month. This will be used as their individual warning sheet. Warnings are accumulated day by day so each student starts fresh each day. At the end of the week homeroom teachers will sign the calendars. Students must bring them home, have a parent sign them, and return them to school on Monday.

If you ever have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to send a note with your child, call me at school, or e-mail me.
