        Welcome to a brand new school year. I'm so glad you’re here! What an exciting year this will be for everyone! I'm involved in the language program for grades 5,6.7.and 8.The major element of this course plan will be grammar. To emphasize this program a five part plan will be used: daily maintenance, warm-up, practice, review, and challenge.

My friends, the Big 8, the dynamite parts of speech, will return. The road-stoppers, punctuation marks, reappear as do the tall people, the capital letters. Diagramming will make a star appearance the second half of the year. Sharpen your pencils; find your rulers, plus erasers as we begin a new form of creative writing on lines mastering the Big 8.
