We will be reviewing the keyboard keys - shift, delete, spacebar, caps lock, return, arrows, esc, command, control etc. along with word processing skills such as margins, line spacing, spell check etc. using the Microsoft Word program.  We are using an online website for typing (Typing Web). The students have their own username and password. The link is below.

Make sure they are concentrating on using the correct fingers.  Below are some additional inks to practice their typing. Also see the Download section on Mrs. Pardo's home page website and their class page for more typing links. Practicing at home 10 to 15 minutes a night would be fantastic. We will be using the drawing tools in Microsoft word; bringing in clipart/pictures and resizing. We will use the SmartNotebook and PowerPoint software.

Your speed will increase the more you practice.
