ABC Countdown to Summer
We are nearing the final days of kindergarten. Can you believe how quickly this year has passed? In celebration, our class will countdown the final days with alphabet themed days. Thank you for your support in making these days magical.
As always, I’m grateful for your continued support of our class this school year. This year has been so much fun, and I am so proud of each student! I am SO disappointed that we are unable to share these days together, but I hope this keeps us connected until the end of the year.

Parent Child Lunch - Please give yourself plenty of time to pick up lunches for yourselves and your child(ren) to arrive no later than 11:25 in the parking lot. The restaurants will be busy and the Immac lot fills up very fast, so arriving early and waiting in the car will help you from being late. You can bring a blanket if you choose to sit on the gym floor or cafeteria floor OR sit on the chairs in the cafeteria if any left. If you arrive early you may pick up your daughter straight from my classroom to walk down. Otherwise the whole class will walk to the CAFETERIA and stand near the bathrooms waiting until you pick up.
Friday, January 31 - Mission Carnival and Noon Dismissal - MUST have at least ONE parent/relative/adult attend to walk around to the games. August and September 2019 Events
Sunday 25th......BLESSING OF BACKPACKS at 9:30 mass. You child may take his/her backpack into the church. Leave big bags of school supplies in the car until mass ends. After mass walk the bags up to my room or take elevator (my room is across from elevator) and set them in the labeled boxes/places provided. I will be not be in the room until 10:30. There will be a volunteers sign up sheet located in the gym. Please be sure you all sign up especially for "parent reader".
Wednesday28th...............FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Please bring a snack and labeled water bottle. Noon dismissal at the doors across from the rectory. Noon dismissal. PICK UP IN THE HALLWAY IN FRONT OF THE OFFICE.

LOOK for environmental print at home that your child can read from wrappers, magazines etc. Cut out and bring to school (zip lock bag) at any time in the couple few months. We will make books in October. Examples: Cheerios or Schnucks Children are able to recognize words by the shape, colors and font....not necessarily "sounds" the letters make. I will send out more information later.
