Dear Nick, Manuella, Luke, Colin, Finn, Frankie, Sophia, Charlie, Finley, Cooper, Carolyn, Evelyn, Katie, and Logan,

When we started this unusual adventure back in March, I was a little worried. I didn't know how it would all work out, if you would be able to keep up with your work without your teacher in the room, and if we could continue with our curriculum. Now that it's over, I  realize I didn't have to worry at all. You have been the most awesome class! You have risen to every challenge I've given you, and you've done it so well. You have asked for help when you needed it,  and kept a positive attitude. You have been able to do this because of your amazing parents! Most of them are not trained teachers, but that's what they had to become to make this work, and while doing their own jobs at the same time.  I can't thank them enough, and neither can you. Really - keep thanking them forever.

I would not want to do this again, but I would if I had to. I have missed seeing you every day, listening to you (even when you weren't supposed to be talking), and having great class discussions. It's just not the same on Zoom - but thank goodness we've had that.

I hope you have a wonderful summer. I hope you get to spend time with your friends sometime soon. I hope I get to take you all to Jefferson City next year. Most of all, I hope you know how happy I have been to be your teacher.
